The rink is open during the week from 4pm to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 11pm and Sunday from 11am to 8pm. Entry is only $10 and includes skates.

Seeing that October is "Fashion Month" here in the great city of Houston, which Fashion Week coming to a close last week, we feel that it is only appropriate to have FOTS to follow suit!

Billy Reid Fall 2010 Fashion Show.

Last night, PPR was sitting front row in attendance to "Southern Bred Luxury: Billy Reid Fall Fashion Show". The event was held at Porshe Audi West Houston, commemorating the launch of the Audi A8.

The show, hosted by KPRC reporter Hasti Taghi, was coordinated by 002houston magazine + Porshe Audi, in conjunction with Fashion Houston. There were southern hospitality bites from various restaurants, libations, music and pop up shop!

I must say, this was a great way to get everyone in the spirit of HOUSTON Fashion Week, starting October 11.

Now, we didn't take many pics (we like to leave that to the professionals). However, we did snap a few to give you all an idea!

This Washington corridor former warehouse turned new green-centric, vintage gastro lounge will serve affordable locally-sourced, organic dishes, as well as cocktails, spirits, and a variety of boutique and undiscovered wines. If you've ever watched an episode of Sex and the City, you know who Manolo Blahnik is... or you should! Some say wearing a pair of his shoes is "better than sex". The famed shoemaker will make a personal appearance this Wednesday, September 29 at Neiman Marcus. During his rare appearance in Houston, he will sign shoes purchased that day in the store. You'd better request a long lunch break, he's there at 1pm!

Grey Goose provided trend inspired cocktails for the event. There was also an overabundance of wine and other lite bites being served. Immediately following the show, Gigi’s Asian Bistro & Dumpling Bar hosted an exclusive post party.

Last night, we attended the Chloe Dao Announcement Party for Fashion Houston 2010. The event was held at Lot 8 Boutique in Rice Village and hosted by Project Runway Season 2 winner, Chloe Dao.

Party-goers browsed the store while listening to great music and sipping on cocktails provided by Retreat Hill Winery & Vineyard and Corzo Tequila!

Sound like jibberish? Probably to most. However, Ke$ha and GaGa fans know exactly what this means. These two divas will both be in concert tonight, at two different venues nonetheless.

Ke$ha will be performing at the House of Blues, show starting at 8pm. Tickets start at $35. Now as for Madame GaGa: She will be performing for her SECOND sold-out show at the Toyota Center, her first show was last night and received "monster reviews." If you don't have your golden ticket to this show, my apologies, because you're S.O.L.!

Sunday, July 25th Strata Restaurant & Bar, 122 Vintage Park Boulevard, Suite A, will be hosting a three-course brunch benefiting Multiple Sclerosis on from 12 noon until 3 pm. So, yesterday I attended the Social Media Shin Dig at El Pueblito (fab) hosted by the Houston based PR firm Black Sheep. It was a mini break from reality, including tropical drinks in giant pineapples, delicious Mexican food, cabanas to lounge in & don't forget the best part... the chance to mingle with 200 of their closest friends from the Twitter. First of all, the location was amazing. I just love El Pueblito. And in addition to all of this, Black Sheep had live music, a photobooth and swag bags!
