Pop Party.

Yep, ‘tis the season for merriment, and Houston Tidbits is kicking it off with a Pop Party TODAY at the very festive Cha Champagne & Wine Bar. Watch the corks fly at the bar before settling into luxe banquettes under local artwork. Swing by the red VIP room for flatbread pizzas and bites, then take your glass of bubbly to the tented winter wonderland that will expand the sleek bar onto the street for more holiday cheer.

Decoded.

Last night, at Brazos Bookstore, Jay-Z fans were in for a special treat. The 10-time Grammy Award-winning artist and successful businessman spoke about his biography, Decoded, with Cornel West in a live telecast at the New York Public Library!

"When you're famous and say you're writing a book, people assume that it's an autobiography--I was born here, raised there, suffered this, loved that, lost it all, got it back, the end. But that's not what this is. I've never been a linear thinker, which is something you can see in my rhymes. They follow the jumpy logic of poetry and emotion, not the straight line of careful prose. My book is like that, too." -Shawn Carter

Go pick up your copy of Decoded at a bookstore near you for about $20.00!
